2 Nephi

2 Nephi 32

“The words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do,” 2 Nephi 32:3.

Some symbolism found in verse 4.  Where it says “neither do ye knock,” this means that you do not ask for. And then again with light and dark.  Light is of God and his Son, Jesus Christ, dark is of Satan. In verse eight we are told that the evil spirit (Satan) is the one that tells us not to pray.  Satan will do everything he can to get us to stray from the path that will lead us to eternal salvation.  Remember this, and know that any of those negative self thoughts or actions are of the devil.  Nephi tells us in verse nine that we must pray always and be strong in our prayers and he also gives us guidance here that we should pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

I love the Book of Mormon and am really sad that 2 Nephi is coming to an end, but I know there are going to be some great chapters ahead!

I write this short blog post to each and every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
